THE BRIGHT, SIMPLE SHADES of childhood evoke a realm of pure, spectral light, clean and clear and fresh, where no trace of shadow has ever fallen. Here, the forces of earth, water, air and fire are intricately intermingled as they stream outwards from the source. Rippling and weaving, their fragmented essences form into a colourful tapestry, in which one gives way to another, and the delicate dance of nature is born – a perpetual ebb and flow between the elements.

Out at the edge of this elemental world burn the brilliant flames of love, the divine love that gives it life, yet even these flames are lazy somehow, flowing softly with the whole. Around its centre, there are still some traces of the divine spark twinkling.

Gaze upon this mandala for a while and feel some echo of the unclouded joyfulness that permeates this weaving together of the natural world.
