SOMETHING IS GROWING, slowly, painfully, almost as if a very ancient fossil were struggling to be born again, pushing its ancient, rock-heavy bones into the possibility of new and unknown limbs. Yes, it is dark in here, but at the centre, at the heart, there is suddenly so much luminosity, a radiant flower is unfurling there, sending its light out into those cold, dark bones. And out towards the edges, too, small flames are flickering into life, spreading out from other small flowers of new growth.
This is the slow process of stirring from the deep sleep that keeps us all fossilised within, bringing the spiralling energy of new evolution to the sleepy old bones of habit, to so much that is dead inside. Once that flower of light has sprouted, then even a fossil can live again, can take on a new form, a new way of living.
