Pulse of the universe

A VAST COSMIC HEARTBEAT, radiating outwards to the edge of the universe and back in towards the centre again, forever and ever without ceasing. This is all there is, this great ebb and flow of energy, of life, of light, this endless vibration, moving in rhythmical ripples and rays and spirals, and waves, interpenetrating and dancing in a thousand different patterns. An ecstatic dance across all times and places throughout the cosmos.

If you watch this great cosmic kaleidoscope of rainbows, you can see its dazzling dance, and if you listen you can hear the celestial symphony that resonates within it – the cosmic aum. But if you look again, you will see also its eternal stillness and repose; if you listen again, you may hear also the echo of its vast and empty silence.
